Saint Dionysios Ladies Philoptochos Society
As the largest ladies' philanthropic organization in the country, the national Philoptochos Society contributes to the health and wellbeing of the poor, the homeless, the aged, the infirm, the unemployed, the imprisoned, the hungry, disaster victims, widows and orphans. Our local chapter holds several meetings a year to plan for annual events such as the Thanksgiving Dinner, St. Dionysios day luncheons, and Palm Sunday dinner. We also support national and international charities, including Reconciliation Services at 31st and Troost, Alexandra's House perinatal hospice and Maison de Naissance, a birthing center in Haiti. Contact President Linda McElroy for the timing of the next meeting or to join Philoptochos!
